Chiara - Supply Chain Scientist, Hamburg

As a supply chain scientist at 4flow research, I work on a broad range of topics. I have projects in data analysis and visualization, and I collaborate with colleagues from different business lines to develop new process automation solutions. As part of our Research Knowledge Services team, I also help share knowledge across the organization. With my background in IT and experience outside the field of supply chain, I can bring new perspectives and creative solutions to our projects.

I think the 4flow claim “You connect the dots” truly captures what I enjoy about my work. On a technical level, it's about linking systems, data sources and stakeholders to develop more efficient and sustainable solutions. On an organizational level, I see 4flow as an interface that connects various players – be they customers, suppliers, production or consultants. For me, this is what 4flow is all about: understanding complex challenges and developing solutions that bring all stakeholders together.

What truly motivates me about 4flow goes far beyond the perks like snacks or team events. Those are nice, but they’re not what makes the difference. What matters most is that my work has meaning, that I’m surrounded by a committed team and I have the chance to collaborate with people who share similar values and goals. The team spirit here is truly unique – and the many opportunities for growth and development make 4flow an ideal place to stay. That’s why I’ve returned to 4flow time and again, first as a bachelor’s student, then a master’s student and now as a permanent team member.
