What your new challenge will look like

The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR department. This role involves handling various HR functions including payroll processing, benefits administration, employee records management, compliance reporting and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of HR activities.

  • Processing payroll; ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages.

  • Create benefits and payroll reports for finance.

  • Managing external HR vendors and partners.

  • Verify state withholding and unemployment tax payments.

  • Set up of payroll taxes for new states.

  • Support the selection and administration of employee benefits programs.

  • Process benefits enrollments and 401k contributions for new hires, life events and open enrollment.

  • Verify required benefit notices, wrap documents, SPDs, are updated and distributed to all employees.

  • Coordinate benefit learning activities (training sessions and workshops) with benefits vendors.

  • Verify and balance benefit invoices.

  • Administration of leave of absences (medical, personal etc.).

  • Administrative support for visa application and paperwork processing.

  • Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Maintain and ensure all employment law postings up to date for physical and remote locations.   

  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment status, etc.

  • Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical).

  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.

  • Respond to requests for information from the global HR team.

  • Respond to requests for reports from the local and global finance team.

  • Assist with recruitment, as necessary.

  • Other HR duties and projects as assigned.

Why you belong at 4flow

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field/related experience in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in an HR administrative role.

  • 8+ years of experience processing payroll.

  • 8+ years of experience with benefits administration.

  • Knowledge of employment laws.

  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits filing requirements.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with HRIS systems.

  • Experience with Workday a plus.

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to work onsite in the Atlanta office 2-3 days per week.

  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
